I love travel. I love Italy. My favorite city in the world is Venice. Its beauty inspired me to return again & again–as it has inspired writers, composers, painters & romantics for as long as it has existed. My forthcoming book, What Happens in Venice, is set in its shadowy mazes and canals, where some captivated American women find mystery, love & allure in haunted Venice.
A published author and licensed attorney, I left the rat race several years ago to earn money while traveling the world. I began this journey as a contract attorney for law firms when I left the city’s prosecution office, which allowed me the flexibility to travel. Because I worked my way through college & law school, I couldn’t afford much travel before this, but it didn’t take much before I was hooked. I became a scuba diver instructor, travelled & lived in the Caribbean, while working flex-time as a lawyer, real estate investor and in network marketing of liquid vitamins.
Writing held my heart. With an English literature degree, I wrote every form–poems, plays, essays, stories, articles. In law school, I became the first female Editor-in-Chief of law journal, published scholarly articles & taught law students & lawyers to write. Yet I never followed my dream to write full-time. Until now.
I also created a website where I publish non-fiction pieces called “Rants” and discuss–and hopefully show you–how to follow your dreams. I also rant about what we all rant about (the foibles of our modern society) offering some solutions & a few methods for attaining wealth & wellness.
